Week #15 - Just Say Yes!

Hello Awesome Sophomore!

Thanks for checking in.  Let's have a great week together.  There have been lots of reminders that we need to be grateful for the friends, family, and support that we have in our lives.  Please continue to work hard and to be good to yourself and to one another.

Homework this week: 
*Finish your book/projects and prepare for Book Group #3
*TAM assignments - Juror Chart, Writing Assignment
* Talk with me about Extra Credit Reading. You must get your selection and project idea approved by me in order to receive credit.  This is due on Monday 1/7


Monday - Wednesday - TAM (Have all notes and charts with you to help you with related work)
* View Twelve Angry Men film
* Juror Worksheet - due on Wednesday
* Writing Assignment - due on Friday.  This must be typed, 12 pt, Times New Roman, single spaced.
Choice A - Story) - My Day with Juror #....
Choice B - Essay) - Juror # and his specific involvement in the play

Thursday - Book Group #3
* Please finish your selection
* Projects due - Indicate what you would like me to specifically notice as far as your efforts go.  You can have some say in your attempts to acknowledge certain themes, characters, or your creativity in general to communicate your insights.
* Please be ready to share your work with your group and to have one final discussion on your story.

Friday - The Yes Team visits Room 854 for a VIP concert.
* We will celebrate the holiday season, as well as our reading and writing community with a visit from The Yes Team.  Be ready for a day that engages us in positivity and creativity.  You will not want to miss this! Check out the link below:
