Take the time in your WRG to workshop your pieces.  Be prepared and be open to suggestion.  Take your audience into account.  Attempt some specific strategies for purpose.  Consider your diction, line breaks, stanza breaks, use of repetition, rule of three, numbers, and on and on...

Sonnets

This is excellent technique for song writing and traditional poetry as well.  It can be old school or it can be contemporary.  Have fun with this form and just let the pieces fit.

Guest Writer - Dallas Wall

Hello Writers!

Today we are joined by the enthusiastic talent that is Dallas Wall.  Dallas is Pointer alum, he spent time in Writers Workshop, and he elevated his craft to include many Third Spaces.  Dallas found his voice during his senior year in this class.  He took chances with his writing and spent time editing his works.  However - Dallas' true talents lie in ecnouraging other writers to play and put forth the effort to tell their stories.  It is a pleaseure to welcome back Dallas to our Writers Workshop.
