Hello Seniors!
Here is our schedule for the week. Please be present and interact with
the material and subject matter. We will continue with the magic that is "Big Fish". We will explore, discuss, and write about some very worthwhile themes and experiences. Do your best to find what is most true to you this week.
Opportunities:
* Lyrical Exchange - Tuesday @ 8:30 p.m at Queen Bee's in North Park
* April 30/30 Challenge - Are you poet enough? This will be discussed in class.

* PLHS Writers Symposium Participation - date/time TBD
Both the 30/30 and Symposium are great opportunities to secure an A or B in our class.
* Poetry Club - Weds at lunch
Office Hours - Tues/Weds after school
Analysis/letters will be returned throughout the week or by individual request.
Important Due Dates:
Socratic Seminar - THURS (this will count as an assessment grade - you must be present)
Writing - Typed Analysis Q's/Myth - due THURS. See Thurs for more info. Work on this throughout the week - use SWT to draft, edit, rewrite.
Handouts - Due THURS - this is NOT mandatory but if completed well WILL help raise your grade. Speak with me if you want clarity. Your interaction with the handouts must be genuine.

Thursday - ALL WORK FOR THE WEEK IS DUE!!!
*BF Writing DUE - Myth and/or Analysis Q's of choice (1-2 pages min.)
Please proofread your work for errors and clarity.
* Handouts - YOU must stay after class to show me your COMPLETED work. You will not get credit for mediocre effort and inauthentic work.
* Socratic Seminar - bring questions, use your handouts and texts, Analysis Q's, Myths
Friday
*TED Talks - Three students will present. Please be ready.
You may volunteer - speak with me earlier in the week to secure your space.
*Authors Chair - Share myths, poems, letters, whatever!
*Handout - work/assignment selection(s) for the remainder of the semester (9 more weeks)
Selections will be due on Tues 4/8
Work hard this week - play hard next week!
